June 27 2006 By virtueonline "TEC" - Poised To Become A Rival Anglican Communion?

Most readers will have heard that the U.S. Episcopal Church has now decided to be simply The Episcopal Church (TEC, instead of ECUSA). Add to this the 16 flags that formed the backdrop of the dais in the House of Deputies, and things start to become clearer. June 26 2006 By virtueonline ATLANTA: Cathedral Dean Pleads For Mercy

I find his mood and hope for a "miracle" very ironic, he told VOL.

Indeed he should. The truth is, Candler rolled over to the LesBiGay agenda a long time ago and he has watched, for his sins, the slow disappearance of folk from his cathedral in Atlanta.

"To look at scripture through the exclusive lens of "bonds of affection" and not also the "bonds of faith" would mean that [the Apostle] Paul must express regret for the hurt he caused Peter in the confrontation over "table fellowship with Gentiles." Paul would also be guilty in his rebuke of the Judaizers in Galatians and Jesus himself seemed insensitive to the affection he owed to the Sadducees and Pharisees."

"We have unequivocal proof that you never reported your brother's sexual molestation of a minor to law enforcement or to the Episcopal Bishop of Los Angeles, even though you were mandated by law to do so. You feared for the safety of your own job and sought to protect yourself and your brother, as evidenced by the letters you wrote in 1979 and 1992, which are now in the possession of the Presiding Bishop, your Standing Committee and the Press.

June 01 2006 By virtueonline PENNSYLVANIA: Suppressed Diocesan Management Letters Revealed

The source also revealed that litigation expenses run up by Bennison against two parishes - St. James the Less in East Philadelphia and the rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rosemont - totaled nearly $1 million ($956,871.15) with the law firm of Drinker, Biddle, for zero gain to the diocese. St. James has had to close its doors as no one has turned up to two morning services and the temporary priest Fr. Robert Offerle has since left town. The entire congregation left with Fr.
