RISING ISLAMIC PERSECUTION

RISING ISLAMIC PERSECUTION

There is a rising tide of Islamic persecution of Christians in countries from Nigeria to Afghanistan, writes Philip Rosenthal of Christian View Network.

A number of Christians have been sentenced to death for their faith.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians have fled their homes, numerous churches have been burned and some of these countries such as Egypt, Iraq and Afghanistan face the risk of extinction of Christianity if trends continue.

Even in the West many converts from Islam and their families are afraid for their safety.

Government leaders speaking against this persecution have been assassinated by these radicals.

Yet the international media and even the Christian media is tragically silent.

Biblically, it is our duty to pray for and support these people (Hebrews 10:33) - we may be next.
